Terms of Use

By using MyKoreanTrip you agree to what’s below. It’s written to be read, not to be impressive.

Affiliate links

Some links to hotels, tours and tickets are affiliate links, mostly through Klook. If you book through one, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you — you pay the same price you would have paid anyway.

Commission never buys a place on this site. Nothing is listed that we wouldn’t recommend to a friend, and no partner pays for a ranking or a review. Prices shown next to a listing are a snapshot taken by hand on the date given, not a live feed — the partner’s own page is always the authority on what something costs and whether it’s available.

Your booking contract is with the partner, not with us. Changes, cancellations, refunds and complaints about the experience itself go to them.

Mr. Kim, the AI assistant

Mr. Kim answers from our own guides plus live sources like maps, directions and event listings. It is a helpful starting point, not a guarantee of accuracy. It can be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken.

Check anything that matters — opening hours, prices, visa rules, transport times, anything safety-related — against an official source before relying on it. Don’t type sensitive personal information into it.

Guides and itineraries

Korea changes. Restaurants close, timetables shift, prices rise, and entry requirements are the government’s to set, not ours. Everything here is written in good faith and corrected when we learn it’s wrong, but it is travel information, not professional advice — and never immigration, medical, legal or financial advice.

Buying a PDF itinerary

Purchases are handled through PayPal. Once payment clears, the PDF is available to download from your account.

Refunds. These are digital products delivered immediately, so by completing a purchase you agree the download starts straight away and you lose the usual 14-day cancellation right that applies to online purchases in the UK and EU. That said: if a file won’t download, is the wrong one, or isn’t what was described, email hello@mykoreantrip.com within 14 days and you’ll get a refund. If you simply changed your mind and haven’t downloaded it, ask and we’ll refund it.

What you buy is a personal licence: read it, print it, take it on your trip. Please don’t resell it, republish it, or share the file publicly.

Reviews you write

Reviews can only be left on a product you actually bought. Keep them honest and civil; anything abusive, fake or off-topic may be removed. By posting one you allow us to display it on the site.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself — you’re responsible for what happens under your account. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time (see the privacy policy). Accounts used for fraud or abuse may be closed.

Our content

The writing, photographs, illustrations and PDFs here are ours. Quote a paragraph and link back if it’s useful to you — that’s welcome. Republishing whole guides, or using them to train a commercial model, is not.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. We can’t promise it will always be available or always correct, and we’re not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on it — a missed train, a closed restaurant, a booking that went wrong with a partner. Nothing here limits liability for anything that can’t legally be limited.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top moves when they do. Continuing to use the site means the current version applies.
